Public transport, the great social leveller and site of conversational pot pourri. Reminds me of a cousin of mine who mightily impressed some fellow bus travellers with his cool calm and open conversational style, and his salt and pepper hair and beard. Upon learning he was Aboriginal, his new Lebanese friends exclaimed: ‘Aww, you must be the George Clooney of Abo’s!’ Deliciously funny.
